WinDough.com, Inc. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this site; WinDough: The Instant Prize Window.
TRUSTe Licensee
WinDough.com, Inc. is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. This statement discloses the privacy practices for WinDough.com. When you visit a Web site displaying the TRUSTe trustmark, you can expect to be notified of: What personally identifiable information of yours is collected; What organization is collecting the information; How the information is used; With whom the information may be shared; What choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of the information; What kind of security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under the company's control; and How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Data Collection
The first time you play the WinDough prize game, we ask you to supply the following information: A prefix (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss), your first and last names, your e-mail address, your state or province of residence, and your birth-year. We use the prefix to address you properly, and to gather data on the gender of our visitors, which we use to target content to you. We use your first and last name to identify you within our system, and to address your properly on our website and in e-mail. Your e-mail address is used as your WinDough identification username, and identifies you exclusively. Your state and birth-year are used to gather more useful summary statistics on our users, and are used to target content to you. Your state and birthyear are also used to determine your location and age, which are necessary in determining your eligibility to play WinDough. The WinDough website may offer additional games and activities that either require or request additional personal information about the user. Any information collected in this manner is subject to the same privacy protection as the initial registration data, unless otherwise explicitly specified at time of collection.
Server Logging
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. We log each page access to our server log, along with both IP address and time of visit. We use an industry standard log analysis program to gather summary information about our visitors, including number of visitors per hour, length of stay, and the names of the webpages accessed. Your name and personal information is not included in this log.
Cookies
When you play the WinDough prize game, we administer a single browser cookie, which helps us to keep track of your identity, and to award your prize to you when you win. We also use this cookie to deliver advertising content specific to your interests using demographic data-based strategies, and to save your e-mail address so you don't have to re-enter it each time you wish to play WinDough.
User Contact
Occasionally, we will use your e-mail address and name to contact you by e-mail. We administer a weekly newsletter, in which we give WinDough updates, including new promotions, sponsors and prizes. On other special occasions, we may send other e-mail messages to you. When you win a prize on WinDough, we send claim information to the e-mail address that you provide. You must be able to receive this claim information in the e-mail box that you specify in order to claim your prize. Throughout the prize claim process, we use your e-mail address to keep you informed regarding the status of your claim. When you claim a prize, you are required to enter your shipping address and phone number (your "Shipping Information"). We use Shipping Information to ship your prize to you. If you have won over $600 in prizes from WinDough in one calendar year, we also require that you enter your social security number. We use your social security number (or other appropriate individual identifiers for Canadian and U.K. residents) to file tax paperwork on your behalf with federal tax agencies.
When you win a large prize from WinDough, we may contact you by phone to ask that you provide a statement, photo or other items that we may use for advertising purposes. In some cases, we may ask to visit your home and record audio or video to document the prize awarding for advertising purposes. Pursuant to the official rules, you agree to allow us to release your name and personal information about you to third parties when you win a prize from WinDough for publicity purposes.
Third Parties
Aside from prize winners, and YesMail participants, WinDough does not release e-mail addresses or any other user personal information to any third parties, although we may share your demographic data (without your name or e-mail address attached) with advertising agencies based in the United States that provide ads for WinDough. This information is used by our advertising agencies to target advertisements to you.
WinDough.com has partnered with YesMail.com, a United States-based provider of targeted, relevant e-mail offers in interest categories that can be dictated by your interests. If you affirmatively request to be enrolled in certain YesMail categories during registration, you will be automatically enrolled in YesMail's membership service, and your e-mail address and demographic information will be released to YesMail at that time. YesMail is not a participant in this privacy statement, and therefore information released will be subject solely to the privacy policy established by YesMail.com. WinDough.com will not be responsible for the privacy of information released to YesMail.com.
We may share your Shipping Information with third parties solely to facilitate delivery of your prize. Your Shipping Information does not include your e-mail address. WinDough has no control over (and is not responsible for) how these third parties use your Shipping Information.
We use an outside ad company based in the United States to display ads on our site. These ads may contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our Website, cookies received with banner ads are collected by our ad company, and we do not have access to this information. These advertising agencies and merchants have their own privacy policies and data collection practices which you should consult. WinDough.com cannot be held responsible or liable for these separate independent policies and practices. Aside from the above, information is held as confidential as is practical within our secured database. You may be removed from all WinDough communications at any time, with the exception of prize claim communication and individual communications from WinDough employees, by following the removal instructions included at the bottom of each WinDough e-mail message. See below for more information regarding removal.
Children's Guidelines
WinDough requires that you enter your birth-year before playing the prize game. If the WinDough registration system determines from this birth-year that you are under 13 years of age, you will not be permitted to play the WinDough prize game. This complies with all legal requirement concerning the collection of personal contact information from users under 13 years of age.
Minors, under 18 years of age, who win prizes playing WinDough, are required to have a parent or guardian claim their prize for them, and sign their claim form. Parents or guardians assume responsibility for the prize claim, including all taxes and liabilities which may be incurred. Prize claim is explained in more detail in the official rules.
Choice/Opt-Out
Each automated e-mail sent by WinDough provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving automated communications from us at the bottom of the message.

You can edit your information from within the WinDough console by choosing Membership Profile in the drop down and clicking "GO".
Security Measures
Employees are made aware of our privacy policy and practices by reviewing this statement upon hire. Access to user data contained in the database is limited to select members of our organization by a double password system. Passwords are changed regularly to provide additional protection. Social security numbers and other sensitive information is transmitted electronically only via a secure, encrypted web connection.
